More about the operating principle
The ST-2935T-2 x-ray inspection system for the control of railway cars provides qualitative and fast cargo analysis at high speeds of the railway train up to 70 km/h, which is achieved by using a linear electron accelerator with a repetition rate of up to 2000 Hz. The system is placed in the alignment of direct and reverse railroad tracks and allows simultaneous scanning on both tracks.
When operating in dual energy mode, discrimination of four group of materials is possible at speeds up to 70 km/h.
The use of linear optical scanning camera in ST-2935T-2 makes it possible to obtain optical images of railcars and to link them to the corresponding x-ray image, which greatly facilitates the work of operators in analyzing the images.
The wagon fragmentation subsystem functions in real-time mode and allows to exclude of separate wagons in the train from scanning, while the exclusion process is maximally automated due to automatic identification of passenger locomotives and wagons by their unique wheel formula.
The ST-2935T-2 system provides the possibility of its operation in automatic mode with integration into the customer's IT-infrastructure. This allows the technological equipment to be installed at the railroad track, and the and analyze scanned x-ray images remotely at the customers offices
